Depositing Funds into Your Trading Account

Adding funds to your trading account takes just 4 easy steps.

Log into the your SwissCapital trading account here.

Click the ‘Deposit’ button, located on the top right of the console.

Select the payment option you wish to use and complete the details.

Click ‘Deposit’ and within a few moments, your funds will be ready for trading.

1. Debit and Credit Cards

You can deposit quickly and easily with all major debit and credit cards, including VISA, MasterCard and Maestro. Debit and credit card deposits are processed immediately and your funds are available almost instantly.

2. eWallets

Using an eWallet is another fantastic and instant way to fund your trading account. eWallets are secure and reliable, and an excellent choice if you prefer not to use a debit/credit card, plus your funds are available immediately.

3. Wire / International Bank Transfer

There is also the option to do a bank wire to fund your trading account, however, take note that the minimum deposit amount is €250, plus it can take up to 7 working days for your funds to be available for trading.

4. Local Bank Transfer

SwissCapital provides a selection of local payment options that allow you to perform a local bank transfer and avoid the complexity and long delays of wire / international bank transfers. Note that some local payment options may still take a few business days for the funds to show in your trading account. To see the various options available, log into your SwissCapital account, click on the ‘Deposit’ button, select your country from the drop down and you will see the various available options.

Withdrawing Funds from Your Trading Account

Complete the form and email it to: banking@swisscapital.fm

Wait for approval and for your funds to be transferred.

The approval process can take up to 3 business days. Once approved, the transfer will take place directly to the payment method used to deposit. Take note that once the withdrawal has been processed, it can take up to 7 working days for the funds to reflect on your side. SwissCapital does not charge any fees for withdrawals, however, your financial institution may charge you additional fees.

Account Verification

At SwissCapital, we take your safety and the safety of your funds seriously, plus we are committed to abiding by local and international laws. It is for this reason that we have a rigorous compliance and verification process to prevent fraud, money laundering and other illegal activities.

In order to ensure the safety of your account and funds, every client is required to verify their identity and provide proof of residence by submitting various documentation. You will be requested to complete the process when you open your account, and once completed, it will allow you to transact quickly and seamlessly and avoid having to submit documents each time you make a deposit or withdrawal.

Proof of Identification (POI)

Every client is required to prove their identity by providing a copy (scan or photo) of a valid, government-issued identity document. You can submit one of the following forms of ID:

  • Passport
  • National Identity Card
  • Driver’s license

It is important to ensure that the documentation you provide is clear and legible and shows your full name, photo, date of issue and date of expiry.

Proof of Residence (POR)

You must provide a document that serves as proof of your place of residence. Please make sure that the document is not older than 3 months, is clear and legible. The document must show your full name and full address. It is imperative that the details you provided during registration, match those on the document. You can submit one of the following:

  • Bank Statement
  • Credit Card Statement
  • Utility Bill (Example: Gas / Water / Electricity / Landline Phone)

Credit Card Verification

If you are using a debit/credit card to fund your account, you will need to submit a copy (scan/photo) of the front and back of the card. The following must be clear and legible:

  • Full name of card holder
  • Expiry date of card
  • First 5 and last 4 digits of the card (The CVV number and the middle 7 digits must be masked/hidden)
  • Card signature (this must match that of your ID)

Take note: If your card does not show your name on it, you must send us a credit card statement that proves the card belongs to you. The statement must show your full name and the last 4 digits of the card.

Bank Transfer – Proof of Payment

Withdrawals to a bank account will only be processed back to the original account that the deposit was made from. Therefore, you will need to submit a screenshot of the transaction page from your account that shows the deposit.

  • What withdrawal options does SwissCapital Offer?
    Before any withdrawals will be processed, you must have completed the POI, POR and if relevant, the credit card verification processes. Your withdrawal will be processed back to the account that was originally used to fund your account. If you used a credit card, an amount up to value that was debited from the card originally will be sent back to the card and any amount over and above that (earnings/profits), will be deposited directly to your bank account. Take note that funds will only be processed back to an account that matches to the identical name of your trading account.
  • What are the minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts?
    There is no minimum withdrawal amount and the maximum is the balance of your trading account.
  • Are there any withdrawal fees?
    SwissCapital does not charge any withdrawal fees, however, your bank or financial institution may charge fees on incoming funds.
  • How long does the withdrawal process take?
    SwissCapital aims to process all withdrawal requests within 1-5 business days. It may still take additional time for the funds to reach your account, depending the payment method used and your bank’s processes. SwissCapital has no control over the time it takes for your bank to make the funds available, so you may wish to communicate with your bank directly in this regard.
